General
-
Assisted Living is designed for older adults who need support with daily tasks — such as bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and meals — but still want independence and choice in their day. Memory Care is specialized support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory loss. It offers a secure, structured environment, staff with dementia training, and programs tailored to cognitive wellbeing and routine.
Both provide 24/7 support, but Memory Care adds additional safety features, programming, and supervision for those living with cognitive decline.
-
If your loved one needs help with daily routines but is still able to make decisions independently, Assisted Living may be a good fit. Memory Care is more appropriate when someone is experiencing confusion, wandering, changes in behaviour, or has received a dementia diagnosis.
Our team can assess your loved one’s needs and help you determine the most appropriate care level.
-
Monthly fees typically include the resident’s suite, chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, laundry, assistance with personal care, medication management, activities, 24/7 staff support, and access to indoor/outdoor amenities.
Memory Care includes all of the above plus a fully monitored environment, specialized cognitive programs, and increased supervision. We provide clear, transparent pricing so families can understand exactly what is included.
-
While long-term care funding is not typically applied to assisted living or memory care, some families may qualify for veterans benefits, insurance programs, or financial support depending on their situation. We can help guide you through options and what may apply to your loved one.

Family Involvement
-
Memory Care focuses on cognitive support, emotional wellbeing, and structured daily routines rather than medical care alone. While nursing homes provide clinical and long-term medical services, Memory Care communities offer a secure environment, dementia-trained staff, and programs tailored for residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

Team members receive specialized dementia care training, including behavioural support, communication skills, and techniques for managing various stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Ongoing education ensures staff remain informed about best practices in senior living and memory care.
